Zeverland price & business model
Zeverland will be a buy-to-play game: pay once, play. The exact price has not been announced. Here's how the model changed and what it means for your wallet.

Is Zeverland free?
No. Zeverland was originally pitched as a free-to-play online world, but in the July 2026 roadmap the studio announced the game would become buy-to-play — a single purchase like most Steam survival games. The decision was reaffirmed in Fireside Chat #02 on August 3, 2026.
Why the model changed
The pivot was part of a bigger course correction: Zeverland dropped its persistent-world PvP MMO design in favor of a co-op PvE survival game with official and officially hosted private servers. Buy-to-play fits that loop — no monetization pressure on world design, and one fair price up front. The community reaction to the change was largely positive.
What we don't know yet
- The price itself. Nothing announced, not even a range. We won't guess.
- Regional pricing or launch discounts.
- Cosmetic or support monetization after purchase, if any.
When a price does land, it will almost certainly ride along with a release window — watch the release date tracker.
