Zeverland demo
A public Zeverland demo is planned for Q1 2027 — but that comes from press reports around Gamescom 2026, not from an official announcement. Status, context, and how to get in on day one.

Where the "Q1 2027" claim comes from
During Gamescom 2026, press outlets that played the Zeverland booth build reported the studio's plan to release a public demo in the first quarter of 2027, ahead of early access later in 2027. Quantum Quirks itself has not posted an official demo date — its last dated statement (August 3, 2026) only said the team is in a "heads-down" development cycle.
How to be ready for the demo
- Wishlist Zeverland on Steam. Wishlists pass 370,000 in August 2026 — Steam notifies you the moment a demo goes live on the store page.
- Watch the official channels: the Steam news hub, and the studio's X/YouTube posts. Official Steam news will carry the announcement first.
- Check back here. When the demo lands, this site grows a proper demo guide: map basics, early crafting recipes that matter, and first-hour survival priorities.
What we expect the demo to include
Based on what press played at Gamescom and what the second playtest already contained, a public demo would likely cover the core loop: scavenging and dismantling, the combine-any-two-items crafting bench, a slice of the 24 × 24 km world, and your first zed encounters. This is our expectation, not an official feature list.
